Tribe: An urban retreat for Women of Color

Women of color are magic -- always searching for the balance between resistance and resilience. And sometimes making space for something other than the struggle in front of us is a real challenge.

As people around us begin to awaken and change, we can learn to embrace the power to resist and the power to be resilient. Resilience is the invitation to come back to who you are at the core -- to embrace your highest self with ease, grace and with the belief that there is a deeper calling inside of you.

TRIBE, is a one day retreat where you will be given the tools to step into a deeper calling and purpose. Life coaches Ana Polanco and Shirin Eskandani and will offer a path to well-being and resilience that will allow you to fully embrace your life mission without the noise of daily life. For one day, lean away from code-switching, carrying your community and being in warrior mode and step into something more holistic.

Together, we will explore a new way of being resilient in the world that is sustainable, limitless and uniquely your own. During the retreat you will:

  • breathe into a more expansive version of who you are in the world and step into your greatness

  • face fears that are limiting your potential

  • create a resilience plan that prioritizes your self-care and well-being

Our event is curated completely by and for women of color including: the event space is led by Shell Martinez and an amazing fresh lunch provided by Chef Mariyam Nayeri (with vegetarian and vegan options).

Refreshments, learning materials and swag provided.
