The Threshold

The Threshold by Wild Dreams is a three-part guided meditation experience is accessible to everyone ready to reconnect with themselves. My experience as an afro-indigenous woman, navigating colonial experiences informs my desire to be in right relations with the land and others.

The Wild Dreams program centers the experiences of women of color and people of the global majority who feel the pull to slow down, reconnect with themselves from a more grounded place. This is a self-paced introductory practice—designed for beginners, for those returning to meditation, and for those who know something is ready to shift, even if they can’t yet name it.

If you’ve been carrying grief, responsibility, or unspoken longing while your dreams wait on the sidelines, this is an invitation to pause—and step into a different way of being. Come back into relationship with yourself—your body, your breath, your power, and your lineage. This experience is rooted in ancestral wisdom, embodied awareness, and grounded presence. It’s not about fixing yourself. It’s about remembering who you are beneath the roles you hold.

About the Experience

Why a Threshold

A threshold is a new beginning. It’s the space between what was and what’s next.

The moment where something in you says, I’m ready to do this differently. The Threshold was created as an entry point—whether you’re brand new to meditative practices or returning after time away. You don’t need prior experience. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You only need a willingness to pause, listen, and begin again.

Learn New Approaches

A three-part audio guided practice to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been scattered across work, survival, or belonging. During this practice you will tap into and transform your power, grief and roots.

A woman with curly black hair and glasses, wearing a green blazer and white shirt, sits on a metal bench outdoors against a blue wall with a window bar and a wall with a column in the background. She is smiling and holding some objects in her hands, with a smile on her face.

About the Guide

I’m Ana Polanco, founder of Wild Dreams. My work centers the experiences of women of color who are ready to disrupt inherited patterns, reclaim their authority, and build lives rooted in truth—not survival.
